Changing Post and Page Published Date In WordPress

  1. Click on All Posts.
  2. Go to the post name which you want to update and you’ll find the Quick Edit button.
  3. Click the quick edit button and then change to the desired date.
  4. Finally, a hit on the Update button will do it.

Process- II: Using Publish Panel Edit

The quick edit process was certainly quicker, but wait there’s another option also to change the post’s date while editing a post.

  1. Find the Publish pane on the right and you’ll see ‘Publish’ as well as an edit link.
  2. Click that link and it will allow a quick edit of the date.
  3. Change the date as you need.
  4. Click on the “Update” button to save the changes.

Yes, that’s it. Believe me, you changed your post’s published date.
